The Health Policy Academy (HPA) is now accepting applications for its 14th session. The Academy has been held by the Health and Global Policy Institute (HGPI), a non-profit, independent, private think tank, since 2015, and more than 400 people have attended the Academy so far. Sustaina Health representative Onozaki has been involved in setting up the first course as well as serving as an instructor.

Recently, HGPI's young professionals have taken the lead in planning and organizing the course, making it even more fulfilling. The participants are diverse, including healthcare professionals, executives of healthcare organizations, researchers, ministry and local government officials, payers, journalists, patients, and healthcare-related company employees, and the exchange among the diverse participants and the alumni network is one of the attractions of the program.

The 14th session will be held over eight sessions from July 2025 to February 2026 (in addition to group work among participants), of which Onozaki will be a speaker three times.
